Do You Remember Nimnim?. A Victim Of Terrible Crue..

Do you remember Nimnim?

A victim of terrible cruelty, Nimnim came to us in late 2020 with an elastic band around her mouth which made it impossible for her to eat, drink or even bark for help. She was just eight weeks old at the time.😢

Thanks to your support, Nimnim got the treatment, care and affection she deserved. The band may have left a permanent scar around her muzzle, but it didn’t dent her spirit!

After six months at the shelter, our amazing partner rescue Furever Furbaby Rescue in Ontario chose Nimnim to travel to Canada to start her #furrytailending life. She soon found a wonderful family, and here’s what they have to say about her:

“Nimnim is the best dog anybody could wish for. She has filled my heart with love and I can’t imagine my life without her.

We decided to foster Monchi from a local rescue to give Nimnim a playmate and we ended up adopting her as they became inseparable. Nimnim is the sweetest dog I have ever met. She surprisingly loved playing in the snow as long as it wasn’t colder than -10 C

She enjoys chasing squirrels in the backyard and rolling around in the grass. She loves my son and her sister Monchi. She also loves the cats in the house but the feeling isn’t mutual most of the time!

Thank you for everything you do for the homeless dogs and cats. Thank you for saving Nimnim from the bottom of my heart.”❤

We couldn’t be happier for Nimnim, and we wish the same happiness for every single one of the dogs still waiting at our shelter. You can meet some of them here: https://www.soidog.org/adopt-a-dog
