New Images Of A Female Malayan Tiger, With Her Fou..

New images of a female Malayan tiger, with her four tiger cubs in tow, were captured on camera traps earlier this year. Three cubs were positioned in front of the mother, with the fourth cub on her right, in partial view.

WWF-Malaysia Executive Director/CEO Sophia Lim said this was a welcome sight, especially in the lead up to Global Tiger Day celebrations this month.

“With the tiger population currently numbering fewer than 150 in Peninsular Malaysia, this latest development renews hope that this critically endangered species can be saved from the brink of extinction.”
