“I have been interested in ACRES’s work for several years before joining as a volunteer in 2019. Despite being a potato, being an ACRES volunteer made me slightly more active and most importantly, gave me a sense of fulfilment and purpose. I am especially motivated when I manage to change people’s perception or fear towards wildlife.” – @keieneres our baby bird reunion expert 😉😎 and wildlife rescue volunteer!

In this two-part series, OWN spoke to our awesome #wildliferescue volunteers to gather some first-hand insights of working with our wild neighbours. Learn about #coexistence from these passionate individuals through their inspiring stories of hope and kindness.

Our heartfelt thanks to long term #volunteers Serene Iek, Carmen, Ee Qiang and Arif for making a difference in countless lives!
