🦈🌊 Strengthening Sharks and Rays Conservation Through Community & Collaboration! 🤝

Department of Fisheries Sabah (DOFS) together with WWF-Malaysia under the Solution For Marine and Coastal Resilience (SOMACORE) programme, successfully held a one-day workshop in Tun Mustapha Park (TMP), bringing together 32 participants from various agencies and local communities to boost awareness and understanding of shark and ray conservation, officiated by YBrs Lawrence Kissol Jr., Deputy Director of Fisheries (Operations). The event fostered science-based learning, open discussion, and local ecological data sharing between the participants — all contributing to the development of the TMP Spatial Shark & Ray Action Plan. 📊📍
