Muffin’s owners came back to the SPCA looking for a furry companion for Muffin - here’s part 2 of their story!
“Shannon (one of the SPCA’s adoption volunteers) brought us around and introduced us to the sauce siblings, Dijon and Truffle. As we were only looking to adopt one friend, we decided to adopt Truffle. However, Truffle was still a little kitten at that time and she would cry at night as she was very close to her brother, Dijon, at SPCA. Thus, we went back to the SPCA for her bro...

His condition has not stopped him from being an active and adventurous cat. 🤸♀️ He loves walking around the shelter and showing affection towards the staff who cleans his cage and feeds him...

Kai is our 14 year young Japanese Spitz. Kai was abandoned at a multi-storey carpark and was rescued by our officers. When assessed by our clinic, we found him to have poor dental health and an ear infection, rendering him deaf. We have reason to believe he must have been severely neglected before being abandoned.
He is currently being treated for his ear infection as well as his dental health.
He’s a tame and affectionate boy, who is really smiley when with hooman...

Muffin was one of the longest-staying cats at SPCA before he found his new loving home. Here is his story 🏠❤️
Muffin's owners back then had no intentions to adopt a cat, and were looking to adopt rabbits instead. This changed when they stumbled across Muffin at SPCA. As they were looking around the shelter, Muffin stretched his hand out of the cage and grabbed the owner - something that he has never done before. They were so taken with Muffin's affection that they decided to bring him ba...

Meet Ah Girl, our 16 year old sweetheart who is currently looking for a foster. She is being treated for heartworm, a disease where her heart is clogged with worms and is unable to push out enough blood out to the rest of her body.
Our furries who have illnesses, just like Ah Girl, are often being stereotyped as having behavioural issues and being extremely sick. Ah Girl is the complete opposite of that, and is in fact really affectionate towards us hoomans here at the...

Say hello to Hoku! 👒

Meowllo! My name is Kaminari, and I am a local black cat, who is 2 years young! 🐾
My favourite time of the day is when hoomans come visit me in the shelter. They would come in daily to refill my food and clean my litter box, and I would always show my gratitude by giving them head rubs.🤎 I would mew softly to get their attention, approach them slowly and rub against them asking for cuddles, and I loooove that they always give in to me. 🧏♀️
I had a neck injury recently and hav...

Churru Came To Our Clinic With A Wound Near Her An.. 10th Jul 2023, by SPCA Singapore
Churru🥨 came to our clinic with a wound near her anus. After wound exploration and multiple checks, we realised that her actual anus was closed and that the current wound had become her new functioning anus. Part of the wound was a skin tissue that was hindering her ability to properly defecate.
We then surgically removed the skin tissue and kept her on long term lactulose to prevent constipation and ensure smooth defecation functions.
Churru's🥨 condition has improved tremendously over...
