Little Yanzi defied all odds 🐶💪!
When he was rescued from another province in the north of Thailand, Yanzi was only one week old and had a deep maggot wound on his back. We don’t know what happened to him, but it was clear he urgently needed medical care to survive.
Against all odds, Yanzi made a speedy recovery and is growing into a healthy, playful pup 🧡. It's incredible to see what proper care and love can do for a young puppy like him!

After Seven Long Years In A Shelter, Ma Luang Finally Found The Perfect Home 9th Nov 2023, by Soi Dog Foundation
Ma Luang + Minnie = a match made in heaven. 💕
Ma Luang came to the Soi Dog shelter back in 2012 as his life was at risk at the hands of his own family.
It would be more than seven years before he’d find a new – and true – family. However, if Ma Luang could talk, we think he’d say it was worth the wait.
Ma Luang joined his adopter Minnie in Vancouver, Canada, at the beginning of the pandemic. Through months of lockdown and a shared love of food, the pair formed an unbreakable bond...

Will you help us be there for vulnerable animals this holiday season? 🐾
This year alone has been full of remarkable achievements. While some are to be celebrated, other milestones are more concerning.
Our hospitals and mobile clinics have been busier this year than ever before, and a record number of animals have needed life-saving treatment and care – sadly, there is still a very long way to go to end the suffering of stray animals.
We are now facing a stark reality; our income is fall...

“From my gut I adored him." Remembering Vincent 🌈🐕
Vincent (shelter named Popped/Pop) was one of thousands of dogs rescued from the (now eliminated) dog meat trade in Thailand back in 2014. The ordeal left him physically injured, not to mention emotionally traumatised.
After more than three and a half years at the shelter, Vincent found a home in the USA with his adopter Ginger who saw him, accepted him and loved him exactly as he was.
Joining her when he was 10 years old, Ginger al...

Heimdall Is Named After One Of The Norse Gods A Bi.. 4th Nov 2023, by Soi Dog Foundation
Heimdall is named after one of the Norse Gods – a big name for such a small boy, but one he deserves after the strength he’s shown. 💪
10-year-old Heimdall came into our care in May this year. Our rescue officers were collecting a group of dogs for neutering when they came across a small, scruffy, senior boy with a fractured front leg.
According to local reports, he’d been hit by a car some weeks before. The thought of poor Heimdall out there fending for himself in such pain is almost...

Nima The Three-Legged Diva Dog Is Living The Life She Deserves 2nd Nov 2023, by Soi Dog Foundation
Sometimes, our pets choose us 🥰
Nima (shelter name Elisse) came to the Soi Dog shelter in 2019 after being hit by a car. Her right front leg was severely injured in the accident, and our vets were left with no option but to amputate.
After two years at the shelter and in foster care, tripawd Nima flew to one of our partner rescues in the USA, just before the (now revised) CDC import ban took effect.
Known as something of a diva, Nima has always been a girl who knows what she wants and is...

Desperate and on the brink of death, Siciliano dragged himself to a nearby house where he found a kind animal lover willing to help him. Our team were immediately alerted and Siciliano was brought to our hospital for urgent medical treatment.
