Magic 1000 Food Delivery To The Nakhon Phanom Shelter 07-2013...
273,000 Thai Baht (around $10,000) of additional food arrives at the Nakhon Phanom shelter where dogs rescued from the illegal dog meat trade are sheltered.

Wrigley was just 4 weeks old when his mother and 7 siblings were found poisoned.
Alone and hungry he was trying to get milk from his dead mother. He is now at Soi Dog’s shelter, where he is getting intensive care as at only 4 weeks old he is extremely vulnerable to disease. ROWDY'S HOME IN CANADA!..

Yesterday Rowdy flew to Toronto to meet her new mum "Matz", with her flight volunteer "Alan" who kindly accompanied Rowdy on his Korean Air flight.
Rowdy then had a 6 hour car ride to her new home in Lake Elliot, Ontario & Matz tells us she's settled in beautifully having hit it off instantly with her new sister "Sasha". The two are already best friends!
Rowdy's new home is surrounded by walking trails,lakes & forests & she's going to have the most amazing life!

Please help us make Tim Tam smile again. Tim Tam arrived at the shelter 3 years ago with an horrific ear wound. We didn't think Tim Tam would survive, but she pulled though & has lived at our shelter ever since. About a year ago, Tim Tam started to display signs of renal failure & became emaciated & very ill. Autoclave Arrives At Nakhon Phanom Shelter...

Many thanks to Soi Dog’s supporters for funding the purchase of an autoclave for use in treating dogs rescued from the illegal dog meat trade and held at the Nakhon Phanom rescue shelter. As Nakhon Phanom is the first port of call for rescued dogs many of them receive surgery and other treatment there. The autoclave will enable the vets to sterilize and do other surgical procedures in a far safer manner as previously sterility was a major concern.

Amy was abandoned at 4 months of age. She's a beautiful soul with a winning personality & has us all under her spell. Today was Churchill's lucky day as he was adopted from our shelter & is now enjoying the love & comforts of his new home. This lovely bulldog was abandoned by his owner & the victim of a horrific dog fight.
Khun Nichapa fell in love with Churchill weeks ago & came to the Soi Dog shelter several times to see this lovely boy whilst he was in treatment. Khun Nichapa who lives in Phang Nga (1 hour from Phuket) is providing Churchill with the medical treatment he needs & lots of loving care. ...

Hi this is Cristy, as you can see I have changed a bit. I heard somebody say that I was like an ugly duckling turned into a beautiful swan but hey I am not a bird! I’m spending some time at Auntie Gill’s house now. Boy am I having fun. I have made friends with Narak and we play together all the time, we chase each other around the garden and it’s a great game. Dr. Bo, resident vet at the Nakhon Phanom shelter, Dr. Lek and DLD staff are seen here treating dogs rescued from smugglers last week and currently held at the Nakhon Phanom shelter in NE Thailand.
