If you've visited us, you'd notice that there are pieces of driftwoods in our head starting pond. This is why we provide driftwoods in our tanks/ponds. For the terrapins to bask! 👍🏻 Terrapins are cold-blooded, so they can't control their body temperature internally. They bask to absorb warmth and vital UV rays.
