Remember Rose? She was featured for adoption a couple months back. We are grateful she has finally been given a fresh start to life after recovering from the traumatic leg injury she suffered when she was still a puppy. Rose, seen here on the right, was surrendered to us with a traumatic injury to her right hind leg and could barely walk properly. We are happy to share that she is now almost fully rehabilitated and ready for adoption! Look at how she just zooms by under the watchful eye of one of our resident dogs. This is Merrell. He was adopted from our shelter by Susan (@impercipient1). When Merrell turned a year old, Susan started bringing him for regular 1 to 3km runs and he absolutely loves it! Recently, Merrell and Susan participated in the 2019 Dogathon and came out 1st place in the women with large dogs category (1.5km with 5 obstacles).
