Save A Stray participated in the special session with MP Lee on 15 Apr 2023 on handling homeless dogs population and passionately voiced out the frustration of years of sacrifices and labour by animal activists to improve the plight of strays. It's 2023, yet humane treatment and effective management of stray animals seem like a far reach with still very little involvement by the local government.

Government municipalities need to remember that they are paid by tax payers to serve the tax payers and the community. In your arrogance, remember who are the ones paying your salaries. So drop the attitude and start serving, and it does not hurt to put on some compassion and kindness in your call of duty. Every living being, including animals, deserve kindness and a life free from unnecessary harm and danger.
