28th May 2011, by AnimalCare

28th May 2011, by AnimalCare

So, from Ming-Yi's convocation, I rushed off to the vet's.  There was a delay, so I had to ask Lean Ee and Mary to stand-in for me just in case I could not make it on time. But I made it....This brown female dog is the elder sister (first generation of puppies) to yesterday's Winnie Pup.  Apparently, their mother had also been caught this morning and has been taken to safety now and Winnie has been reunited with her mum!  Winnie is only 2-3 weeks old and still needs her mum.&n...

Calling On Subang Jaya Residents Who Are Interested In CNRM (One-Street Programme)
27th May 2011, by AnimalCare

I had a chat with a councillor yesterday as he was interested in discussing our mission in pushing for CNRM by doing the education for it.  He agreed that education is sorely needed and that is the first step towards getting more people interested to participate in CNRM.He told me that the local councils do not want to capture and kill at the pounds "Do you think we like doing it? We don't," he said, but they have no choice because people complain and it is the duty of the councils to ...

Updates On Lilac
27th May 2011, by AnimalCare

I went to visit Lilac today.  Lilac's condition has improved.  She is able to urinate and defecate on her own now.  However, she is still not able to walk because of the "adhesion" between the leg and the pelvis.  Another simpler surgery has to be done to correct this.  Even the difficult wound is healing well now.  There is no more swelling now. That's the wound.Lilac's case is a wee bit complicated as I am not sure whether it is the owner or rescuer asking for hel...
