I was found alone and vomiting. My coat was filthy and I was infested with ticks. I am just 10 weeks old and have already suffered so much. My name is Rien.
Weak and emaciated, I was found just in time. With nobody caring for me, I would not have survived much longer. Struggling with a serious case of mange, I had stopped eating and was anaemic and dehydrated. Things did not look good for me.

Just over a year ago, Smoocher arrived at our shelter battling blood parasites, low blood platelets and severe anaemia. He was infested with ticks and just 15 weeks old.
It is only thanks to people like YOU that we can help dogs like Smoocher when they need it most. The members of our Emergency Response Team are a lifeline for sick, injured, abused or abandoned animals that have nobody else to turn to. It is their donations that saved Smoocher's life.

NATIVE WILDLIFE RESCUE ROUNDUP: COLUGO CLIMBS HOME AFTER A CRASH LANDING!
Back in October, the ACRES wildlife rescue team received a call about a Malayan colugo who had crashed into a condominium apartment. The colugo was a young adult who was in a bit of a daze and was stressed. Luckily, the ACRES wildlife rescue team was on hand to ensure his safety and release back into the wild as soon as possible.

Kitten Saved From Typhoon Becomes Restaurant Mascot
After two days of searching for a crying kitten during a typhoon in Taiwan, a tiny tabby waddled out from the bushes into her rescuers’ arms. She amazed everyone with her strong will to live.

Ah Heng was narrowly rescued 5 years ago from the pound, scheduled to be put down. Sadly, his owners left for New Zealand recently and the fosterer is urgently seeking a new family for him.
This matured boy is very mild mannered and affectionate towards humans. An excellent jogging companion too, as he loves walks and exercises.
