Heidi Is Unwell 28th Aug 2018, by AnimalCare
Heidi is not well.
It started last night when she refused supper. I thought she was just not hungry but this morning, she didn’t want to eat breakfast either.
Normally, Heidi will eat breakfast with everyone, and then, follow us to the playground for taiji. She loves going to the playground, watching the birds and playing at her herb stash. Then, she will sit at the bench and watch the world go by.
When we are done with our practice, she almost never follows us back. It’s got to do w...

Ready, Aim…. Oops! (Vincent’s Pilling Sessions) 28th Aug 2018, by AnimalCare
Vincent has been eating like a pig lately, which, of course, if a good sign, even though his weight has remained at a measly 3.2kg and he still looks thin and emaciated.
But strength-wise, I think Vincent is stronger than me.
Now, we have to give him the antibiotics for another week, which means, more battles.
After giving me a reprieve for 1-2 days, he is back in full force to resist the tablet again.
Of course the burqa has failed, so we just wrap him up with the towel leaving his head out.
An...

Neutering Aid For 3 Dogs In Cheras (Choo Leh Mie’s) 28th Aug 2018, by AnimalCare
We have sponsored RM300 for the neutering of these 3 dogs.
According to Ms Choo, the black dog was so fierce that she had to be sedated in the car before being transported out to the clinic. Ms Choo was unable to take a photo of the surgical wound, but we obtained a letter from the vet verifying that the dog had been spayed. We have advised Ms Choo to request the assistance of the vet or clinic assistants to take a photo of the surgical wound while the dog is still under anaesthesia should she e...

This Dog Was Found At The Shoplots Across Our Anim.. 28th Aug 2018, by SPCA Sarawak
This dog was found at the shoplots across our animal shelter. An irresponsible citizen had just abandoned the dog.
We discovered that the dog suffered rabies symptoms, and decided to trap it. The dog was humanely put down by our vet, and to send it for laboratory test.
A life, or more, could have been lost, had we not discover it earlier. You, as an irresponsible pet owner, would have murdered the whole community at 7th Mile Bazaar, just because of your ignorance on vaccinating your pet.
A...

He is recovering well from ringworm and his leg still has a limp. He will be ready to go to a good home in a few week's time.
I've been calling him Felix. He is really lovable and loves belly rubs and pats. Litter trained and not a fussy eater.

The Terengganu Turtle Camp 2018 aims to educate local students that turtles 🐢 are not only the natural and cultural heritage for Terengganu but also their important role in marine ecosystems. This is because the public plays a significant role in helping to cease the trade and consumption of turtle eggs.
The second day of this camp started with a visit to Turtle Information Centre in Rantau Abang and MNS centre. It was then followed by “Turtle Race”, an activity whereby participants in g...
