The “one Month’s Notice” Is A Privilege And Not A Right 6th Jan 2019, by AnimalCare
As announced in December 2018, there is a maximum claimable amount that applicants can claim for. We also announced that whenever possible, we will give such applicants a one month’s notice to make their last two claims.
However, we would like to advise all applicants that this one month’s notice and last two claims is a privilege accorded to you, and not a right that you can demand for. There would be cases where it may not be possible to give you the one month’s notice ...

Vincent’s Morning 6th Jan 2019, by AnimalCare
Vincent is a typical cat, with his primal instincts still pretty intact. He migrates his “nest” every few days (I bet if I counted the days, it would be an EXACT number of days). Heidi does this too, so Heidi also has these primal instincts.
But one thing does not change, though. Vincent will jump onto the bed and wake me up every morning. The only time he might not do this is when he is not feeling well.
So, Vincent woke me up this morning….at 4am! We came downstairs together...

Photos From Soi Dog Foundation's Post 6th Jan 2019, by Soi Dog Foundation
This is little Oliver. Only a few weeks old, born on the streets, having to learn from such an early age how to fend for himself. A visiting tourist found him all alone at the side of the road, where he would have almost certainly died.
Please help vulnerable kittens like Oliver get the dedicated hospital they need! Donate now at https://bit.ly/Saving_Oliver
Oliver was brought to the Soi Dog shelter by the kind person who found him but sadly, he was joined by so many other sick, injured, aba...

Neutering Aid For 2 Cats In Setapak (Teh Guat Hoon’s) 5th Jan 2019, by AnimalCare
We have provided an aid of RM120 for the neutering of these 2 cats.
Mdm Teh is a new applicant. We were only able to approve the aid for 2 cats because there was no awake-after photo for the third cat.
Hello my name is Teh Guat Hoon. I’m writing to apply neutering aid for 3 cats. These cats are from Taman Sri Rampai. Their mother was a stray cat but died in a car accident when they were two weeks old. So, I took care of them until they were old enough to be neutered. I will continue to ta...

Vincent In Hiding And His Subcut In 3 Minutes Flat! 5th Jan 2019, by AnimalCare
Vincent has migrated to under our king-size bed now, and right smack in the middle too, so that I’m just short of about 2 inches from being able to hold his paw (to take him out).
Seeing how much he loves being under the bed, I’ve devised a new routine now so that he can be fed his medicine.
I know he will come down for breakfast, so once he comes down, we close the bedroom door. He cannot go back into the room after that, so after breakfast, I can feed him his medicine.
He fights no...

Today On My Way To Work, Saw Hit By Car Dead Walla.. 5th Jan 2019, by Dr Rayya's Online Veterinary Journal
Today on my way to work, saw hit by car dead Wallaby in suburban area. I stopped and confirmed it was a female Wallaby and pulled out up a live pinky from her pouch. Kept it snug as a bug. Weighed 25 grams and free of injury. Wildlife carers swung by to pick her up and give her a good go although she's very tiny. It's important to stop and always check. I just want to recognise the relentless amazing dedication our Aussie wildlife carers demonstrate 24/7 all year round. I hope this little crit...
