23rd Oct 2019, by Langkawi Animal Shelter & Sanctuary Foundation

Meet Pippin 💙 Pippin was abandoned at the shelter in 2011 along with Shell, who is presumably his sibling. He loves attention especially around his face and neck while gazing into your eyes. He also licks a lot!! 😆 Pippin has an ongoing skin condition, hence the cone, but nevertheless is a happy-go-lucky, chilled out dude 🐶❤️ Photo credit: https://instagram.com/caperturelight

Say No To Live Crab Claw Machine. A Recent Post By..
23rd Oct 2019, by SPCA Singapore

SAY NO TO LIVE CRAB CLAW MACHINE A recent post by a local restaurant has been brought to our attention. In their claw machine, inanimate objects are replaced with live crabs for customers to lift and drop to ‘catch’ the crab(s) they want. The game causes unnecessary harm to the animals and it also encourages people to see animals as nothing more than objects to play with and goes against our vision of a kinder society. Crabs are living creatures, not toys. SPCA advises members of the pu...

Indy – Back To Square One?
23rd Oct 2019, by AnimalCare

It was too early to celebrate. His stools were firm, well-formed and normal for a week. But yesterday, he had blood-tinged stools again and by this morning, I found three patches of diarrhoea. Is it back to square one? That’s the thing with Indy’s bowel issue. Something will “work” for a while and then it won’t work anymore.  I still cannot find a permanent solution and it’s very disheartening. I suppose the only consolation is that he is still active, al...

Photos From Soi Dog Foundation's Post
23rd Oct 2019, by Soi Dog Foundation

No one deserves what he has been through! A couple of years ago, we got a report of a terrible case of abuse against an innocent dog. His name is Mommam. Mommam was a happy 3-year-old boy who enjoyed running and playing. That all changed in an instant. Mommam was cruelly punished for following his natural instincts. One day, he tried to mate with a neighbour’s female dog. Furious, the neighbour ran after Mommam and held him down. He then drove a lawnmower over poor Mommam’s legs. Despite th...
