Welcome to Rajang-Belawai-Paloh delta which houses the largest mangrove complex in Sarawak! The delta accounts for an estimated 58% of total mangroves in the state and about 10,000ha are protected in the Rajang Mangroves National Park.
Mangrove areas are important wetlands because they function as nurseries and refuge for marine organism including the near-shore fisheries of the region, as well as protecting the coastal line and regulating global climate.

You may think she is just another cat but, Nilama is a survivor of a terrible injury after being hit by a car. She was left to die on the road bleeding from her nose and mouth. She was in shock finding it difficult to breath and unable to move.

APPEAL FOR INFORMATION
On 28 January 2019, at about 10:00am, a male kitten was found covered with glue and abandoned on a grass patch along Pandan Loop. He was rescued and brought to our clinic for further examination and treatment. Based on preliminary findings, the glue was most likely from a glue trap.
Currently, he is under the care of our veterinary team.
