The Cats’ Morning 27th Mar 2019, by AnimalCare
I got up at 4.30am this morning so that I could feed Cow by 5am. That would give us more than 6 hours of fasting before his surgery this afternoon.
Cow is back on my table now.
And because of this, Indy cannot come in.
This bench is mine, mine, mine. All mine!!
Indy has to find a new place now that Cow has come back into the room permanently.
Bunny LOVES his tunnel.
Tabs, in the dining room.
Ginger at the patio.
Heidi, always the kitchen cat.
Mr Zurik came to eat this morning. But Buddy ...

Photos From Soi Dog Foundation's Post 27th Mar 2019, by Soi Dog Foundation
Look how well Findy is healing thanks to people like you funding his care! This gorgeous boy was found with a deep, infected wound on one of his front legs. It looked as though an elastic band or similar had been embedded in his flesh for a long time, although there was nothing there when we found him. Please donate now so that suffering animals will always have a place of safety! https://bit.ly/Help_For_Homeless_Dogs
We’ll probably never know for sure what caused this terrible injury, but Fi...

FOR THE LOVE OF DOGS
_________________________
"The people who surround us take my breath away," Harmony Fund Founder Laura Simpson said. "It's not only the extraordinary selfless rescuers we are sponsoring internationally, but also the very kind people who donate. I get tears in my eyes when we receive a donation of $2 because I know that gift comes from a person who is struggling to feed themselves, yet they reach out to help the animals anyway. It's simply beautiful to witness that kindness....

This ad was put up in February and I just managed to get my hands on a hardcopy of this in the Star Paper published on one of the Sunday during that month. The Cow Clan After The Wall Came Down 26th Mar 2019, by AnimalCare
Cow has been spending almost all his time in the room now.
Tomorrow will be Cow’s tooth extraction and scaling. I’m a little nervous because of his age (being 13 years old).
I hope it will go well. Your kind wishes are most appreciated.
Once the rotten tooth is out and scaling done, at least we will minimise the chances of increasing globulin levels that might destroy the kidneys. Being FIV+ already causes an increase in the levels, so we don’t want gum and teeth problems to a...

About Stretch Therapy Again 26th Mar 2019, by AnimalCare
This is a sharing about pains, aches and falls. As animal caregivers, we are sometimes susceptible to this too.
About two weeks ago, Jia-Wen slipped and fell rather badly. Prior to that, he already had pain in his leg but he did not get it treated.
The slip-and-fall was so bad, he could not walk. The pain was excruciating. He went to see a doctor who said it was stretched ligaments and tendons, and was prescribed the usual pain medicines. But the pain was still bad and because he could not walk,...
