Hooded Pitta Release 30th Apr 2019, by Animal Concerns Research & Education Society (ACRES)
Seeing a bird fly again is really something!
It means that this bird has recovered she’s finally back on track with life. Some birds may have been trapped in a confined space and couldn’t find their way out; some wounded and couldn’t recover on their own. In other cases, a chick may have been separated from the family and needed fostering.
They’re just like us.
We’ve been down on our lives before at one point of time or find ourselves alone, and we struggle through it. But there might...

Photos From Soi Dog Foundation's Post 30th Apr 2019, by Soi Dog Foundation
If you are looking for a great family dog, look no further! Dino is guy for you.
No one really knows where Dino came from or what happened to him, but he was found frantically running along a busy road. It is most likely that he was dumped on the streets and left to fend for himself. Unfortunately, for dogs like Dino, this is a normal occurrence. Panicked and unsure where to go, Dino took a turn down a quieter street where thankfully, a Soi Dog member of staff lived. It was obvious he had been...

Thank You Very Much (April 2019) 30th Apr 2019, by AnimalCare
It’s time again to thank everyone again for their very kind and generous support of our work.
For once in the last (almost) ten years, dog neutering outnumbered cat neutering this month, but only by one! It is also probably because there were a few cat claims which were non-compliant.
Some applicants still do not know our policy requirements, such as, having full names on the receipt, or the vet’s signature and stamp on the receipt, the deadline of 2 weeks, etc.
Some people simply re...

Pole Is…..A-Okay! 30th Apr 2019, by AnimalCare
I really hope so….
Yesterday, my friend, Cathy, came over and she brought some treats for the cats. These were treats from iherb.com. There was a chicken treat, a rabbit treat and a fish treat. The cats only liked the chicken treat. So Bunny ate up everything that was left behind!
I think it was the chicken treat that stimulated Pole’s appetite again. She loved the treats and right after that, she asked her normal food!
This morning, I rewarded her with the chicken treat again...

Brothers United 30th Apr 2019, by AnimalCare
Cow’s anger management problem seems to have dissipated now. He is much calmer and allows prolonged petting. The petting aggression is also gone.
Since his infant days, Cow had taken upon myself to protect Bunny and Pole. His duty continues until today, unwaveringly. He is totally resolute and committed to looking after his siblings, especially Bunny.
Cow has the loyalty of a dog.
