Zurik….lookin’ Mean 11th May 2019, by AnimalCare
Zurik is back to his strategising days….plotting and planning for an attack on the unsuspecting Blanket Cats who think the whole world is sunshine and blue skies. Well, that would only be Tabs and Ginger. Heidi is street-smart, she is not easily fooled.
It’s just little ol’ me….innocent lil’ ol’ me.
How could this innocent face be up to no good, right? Yes, the innocent face with the Loki ears!!
See, totally innocent.
Since Heidi has th...

Remember This Black Tvt Dog From Seri Kembangan We.. 11th May 2019, by TNRM Malaysia
Remember this black TVT dog from Seri Kembangan we rescued many months ago ? At first, we sent her to our panel clinic and the TVT was treated with 5 vincristine jabs but it reduced to only about half the original size. There was nothing the vet could do but to refer us to UPM. We contacted UPM but we had to wait before the dog could go for surgery. So we discharged her to save cost and fostered her in our transit centre pending the date. Her medical bill at our panel clinic summed up to Rm1,95...

Tnrm Seremban - These 4 Female Cats Were Caught At.. 11th May 2019, by TNRM Malaysia
TNRM Seremban - these 4 female cats were caught at Pasar Ampangan Seremban on Tuesday. They are fed by Puan Dilla and her husband. The cats have been giving birth a few times. The few lucky and more beautiful kittens were taken by patrons to the wet market, the unlucky ones were mostly run over by vehicles. That’s most likely the fate of stray kittens and puppies. The best way to stop this suffering is to neuter them. We need your help once again to sponsor their neutering costs so we can help...

The Bullying Continues 11th May 2019, by AnimalCare
We had some repair work done in the porch today, so the Blanket Cats were a little stressed.
Of course Heidi wasn’t the least bit affected, as usual, but Tabs was scared, so she went to hide in her bomb shelter, which is the storeroom.
Tabs: I’m scared…
Heidi tried to go in as well, and Tabs whacked her. I think Tabs didn’t mean to whack anyone. She’s just so afraid so her paw came out of the door.
But Zurik…
Zurik is back to his KGB-element again now. He ...

Reading Down…the Countdown Begins For Indy!! 11th May 2019, by AnimalCare
Yay!!
Indy’s creatinine has gone down from the previous reading of 238 one month ago in April to today’s reading of 174 (within normal range). Exactly a month of alternate-day subcut. Hydration works!!
The vet says we can now reduce his subcut to twice a week, at 200ml each time and Indy’s scaling is now scheduled for Thursday.
Indy made a lot of noise on the trip there but was quiet on the way back. At the clinic, he curled himself in a tight ball at the furthest end of...

This is Norma. When they’d finished breeding her, they dumped her. Unaccustomed to living on the streets, she was hit by a car shortly after and seriously injured.
There is no government funding for the rescue and medical treatment of dogs like Norma. And the Soi Dog shelter is now operating at full capacity. Will you please help us create more space for sick and injured animals that have nobody else to turn to? https://bit.ly/Save_Dogs_Like_Norma
Norma was so badly injured by the car accide...

When I was only 4 months old, my front leg was severely injured. I was all alone in the world. But because people like you donated to help me, I was able to get medical treatment, although it was sadly too late to save my leg.
To this d...

These 5 Dogs 3 Males And 2 Females Are Fed By Joea.. 10th May 2019, by TNRM Malaysia
These 5 dogs ( 3 males and 2 females ) are fed by Joeann at an industrial are in Shah Alam. They were caught on Tuesday. The factory where they hang around doesn’t want them to be there so they called the local council to get rid of them. Fearing for their safety, we can’t release them to where they were, Joeann is going to send them to a shelter after neutering. It seems like there’s no other choice but to do that but that’s not the right way. Other un-neutered dogs will come into the a...
