Handsome Ryuta is currently residing in a foster home in Boston, Massachusetts. He was originally rescued by Soi Dog after being abandoned on the streets by his first owner. Gustav has me down pat with his intense eye contact in an attempt to hypnotize me to hand over the entire treat container. SPCA ADOPTION DRIVE AT THE CATHAY (27 JULY)
Sam, the cat in the poster, survived a car accident. He came to us at around four months old, in shock and unable to move his hind legs. X-rays revealed his pelvis was fractured, causing his rectum to protrude outwards.
Over the past few weeks, our vets attempted to reduce the prolapsed rectum, and the little one has been on cage rest. With regular acupuncture and rehabilitation exercises, he is now getting better and is able to walk again!

Usaha mendidik dan meningkatkan kesedaran masyarakat amat penting supaya mereka dapat memahami betapa pentingnya hutan paya bakau kepada kehidupan mereka dan hidupan liar.

Neutering Aid For 2 Dogs In Rawang (Liew Kah Yan’s)

We have provided an aid of RM240 for the neutering of these 2 dogs.
Photos of Ms Liew’s previous dogs, neutered with our aid, are below.
There were both captured in a factory area of Rawang in the night. However due to the aggressiveness of the female dog, taking picture is only possible when she is in the cage. Will be releasing back after fully recovered, and will continue to feed them.

Zurik’s Check-Up (375ml Fluids Drawn)

Today was Zurik’s check-up.
His belly had already felt very turgid for a few days now. Prior to this, it was just soft and “fluidy”; not turgid. But for the past few days, it felt turgid, which is indicative of a fair amount of fluids in the abdomen.
The ultrasound on both sides of the lungs showed no change, which is good. But the ultrasound on the abdomen showed, as expected, much more fluids and this time, the fluids were not interspersed in the layers of fat.

Please Formula 1, Don’t Look Away

Don’t allow Formula 1 to look away while dogs die. Insist they join the international movement putting pressure on Vietnam.
Every year in Vietnam, hundreds of thousands of dogs die horrific deaths in the dog meat trade. And yet Formula 1 is going there in 2020.
A total ban could save millions of dogs. Now is the time to act. Sign the letter asking Formula 1 to stand up against the dog meat trade.
