This Tripaw Tabby Is Looking For A Lifetime Cuddle Buddy. 30th Apr 2020, by Soi Dog Foundation
We are very excited to announce that #NationalAdoptaShelterPetDay also falls on #NationalTabbyCatDay this year! This must be a lucky sign for our resident tabby, sweet Benten.
A kind man rescued Benten, when he found him limping on the side of the road barely missing moving vehicles. When he was brought to us, our vets knew his leg was beyond repair and needed to be amputated. It took time for Benten to recover. Life on three-legs was new to him so he needed support from our carer to help him b...

Dear All,. One Of The Feeders Aunty We Know From S.. 30th Apr 2020, by TNRM Malaysia
Dear all,
One of the feeders aunty we know from Selayang is calling out for help to feed the strays. The MCO which began from the 18th of March has really taken a toll on many parties, humans and animals alike. But we have savings and we know how to get food to fill our stomachs. Unfortunately for the strays, they rely on us for food. This aunty who runs a food stall business has difficulty to continue to feed the strays around her area since the MCO started. We don’t have the heart to see t...

ACUPUNCTURE FOR CATS
Did you know that acupuncture is used to treat animals too? It may seem scary but the process is painless and can even be relaxing.
Theo and Pudding both came into SPCA suffering from pelvic injuries. Theo has issues defecating and is required to regularly ingest stool softeners, gut stimulants, and other medication to pass motion. Pudding, on the other hand, has urinary incontinence.
Thankfully, the acupuncture treatments improved their conditions, and after some rest,...

Our Majestic Malayan Tiger Is Becoming Increasingl.. 30th Apr 2020, by WWF Malaysia
Our majestic Malayan tiger is becoming increasingly unsafe in its own habitat.
.
The sheer size of the Belum-Temengor Forest Complex makes patrolling a massive challenge. Our dedicated Wildlife Warriors leave the comforts of home for a couple of weeks at a time to protect the Malayan tiger and other wildlife.
.
One of the main tools of a Wildlife Warrior is the camera trap, costing approximately RM2,000 per unit. It is no ordinary camera but specialised, with a heat and motion sensor, made to ca...

Ready For Another Happy Story?. Ishbels Story We A.. 30th Apr 2020, by Langkawi Animal Shelter & Sanctuary Foundation
Ready for another happy story? ☺️☺️☺️
Ishbel’s story: We adopted Ishbel (Foxy at the time) in April 2018 when she was about 3 months old. She was handicapped (most likely from birth) with joint problems in her back legs. She had to have two surgical procedures in Langkawi before she travelled to Germany in May 2018 with a good friend of ours. She went to hydrotherapy for several months and now she is a (mostly) healthy, happy dog. Whilst we go to work she goes to a daycare centre ...

Jeritan Demi Jeritan Kepada Kucing Yang Diancam Ba.. 30th Apr 2020, by Malaysia Animal Association
Aksi hanya membuat bising begini bakal mengorbankan nyawa kucing. Masyarakat kita harus berilmu dalam mendepani bahaya sebegini. Lakukan tindakan yang boleh memeranjatkan kucing dan menyebabkan kucing lari pantas untu...
