Layan has been through so much, and yet he continues to have a sweet smile plastered across his face. He was one of thousands of dogs rescued from the horrific dog meat trade in Thailand back in 2013. Layan was first placed in a rescue shelter in north-eastern Thailand. He finally arrived at Soi Dog's shelter in 2017 and has been waiting to be rehome ever since.
