THE WILD CHILDREN

Here are some baby birds whom we took under our wing (pun intended) and look at their glow ups, in their journey back to the wild!

You see a baby bird, who is seemingly stranded and uninjured, what would you do?

If your response was to assess the environment and attempt reunification, then you are on the right track!

No matter how well intentioned, when it comes to baby animals, it is always best to stick around to see if the parents are around before proceeding to remove them from the environment.

Why? Because nothing really comes close to a parent’s care for their young and without them it literally takes a village (in this case, situated in Sungei Tengah) to raise young animals.

Regardless, if the animals do come to us, from rock pigeons to hanging parrots to even our native whistling ducks, our animal care officers, and our #WildlifeVet will rise up to the challenge to provide them with the best care they can to raise healthy individuals.

For us to continue the work we do on various fronts – advocacy, education and rescue – please consider making a donation via link in bio. Your support means the world to us and the animals for whom we tirelessly speak up for 🙏🏻
