Yamo Was Brought To Soi Dog In 2019 After Our Comm..

Yamo was brought to Soi Dog in 2019 after our community outreach team found her jaundiced and weak at a local government dog pound. Now, she’s living the #furrytailending she always dreamed of!

Yamo left our shelter not long ago and travelled to one of our partner rescues in Canada – Jack Russel Terrier Rescue Ontario (JRTRO). After arriving, she was renamed Mia and soon blossomed into a lovable, friendly little soul, capturing the hearts of everyone she meets.

Mia was placed with an experienced foster family who said she was one of their easiest fosters and the most affectionate in memory. In fact, they described her as the perfect dog!

Mia was promoted for adoption, and lucky for her there was a family waiting in the wings who met all her specific needs. The more they learnt about Mia, and the more photos and videos they saw of her, the more they fell in love. Young retirees with a dog who shares Mia’s energy level and temperament, the JRTRO team had a strong feeling that this family could offer Mia the perfect home.

Arrangements were made for a long visit, but it didn’t take long for Mia’s adopters to know that she was the dog for them. Her foster mum shed a few tears saying goodbye but knew that Mia was in good hands. As evidenced by these lovely pictures, all’s well that ends well!
