Forever Home Away From Home. Meet Shangria, A Gree..

FOREVER HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Meet Shangria, a green iguana who is a resident at ACRES. She is amongst the 120 victims of the illegal wildlife trade who have found a home away from home in ACRES.

While repatriation remains as one of our priorities, due to various reasons many of these animals will never see the wild again. We can only look forward and focus on making their stay a comfortable one. From routinely refurnishing their enclosures with structures to meeting their specific dietary and veterinary needs, maintaining a facility dedicated to both native and non-native animals does not come cheap.

Your donations allow us to continue caring for these animals and improving their quality of life at ACRES. Please consider donating today!
