患上骨癌被迫截肢保命

园区最近又多了一只三脚狗狗 😞 (eng ver 👇🏻)

V熊是在园区住了很多年的孩子，

最近发现后脚肿急送院

不幸的诊断出患上骨癌 ……

好在发现得早

照了X光确认癌细胞还没扩散进体内后

赶紧安排动了截肢手术

被迫截断右后腿来保命

孩子一定不知道为什么自己白白没了一条腿 …

但V熊的生命力真的很强

术后隔天已能用三只脚走路

超快适应这三脚生活

V熊现在住在隔离房里休养，

每天缝合处还是需要喷药帮助愈合

希望可恶的癌细胞通过截肢后全部都已消灭光光，愿V熊早日康复 🐻

救援容易，但后续照护是艰辛的

园区有很多像V熊这样上了年纪的毛孩，每一只都有不同的健康问题，因HOPE是无安乐死收容所，代表我们不会放弃这些生病的孩子

因此医药费是想省都省不了的开销 ……

V熊的手术医药共花了RM1,059.80

Suffering from bone cancer and forced to amputate to save life. There is another three-legged dog in our shelter recently 😞

Vi Xiong is a rescued dog who has lived in our shelter for many years.

Recently he found to be swollen in the back foot and rushed to the vet clinic, unfortunately he was diagnosed with bone cancer …

But luckily it was found in early stage.

After taking X-rays to confirm that cancer cells have not spread into the body, the amputation surgery was scheduled and he was forced to amputate his right hind leg to save his life.

Vi Xiong is a super tough man, just the day after the surgery, he was able to walk on three feet.

He is now living in an isolation room to recuperate, the suture site still needs to be sprayed on medication every day to help heal.

Hope all the nasty cancer cells will be wiped out after amputation, and may Vi Xiong recover soon! 🐻

Rescue is easy, but the follow-up care is very hard.

There are so many senior rescued furries like Vi Xiong in our shelter, each of them has different health problems, because HOPE is a no-kill shelter, we will not give up these sick furkids.

Therefore, medical expenses are expenses that cannot be saved.

VX’s medical and surgery expenses cost a total of RM1,059.80.

(This does not includes the wound spray and the follow-up visit charges)

Our shelter owes a huge amount of medical debts, and the monthly expenses have skyrocketed to RM300,000 this year! 😞
