Pumars Furrytailending Was So Good, It Made Our 20..

Pumar’s #furrytailending was so good, it made our 2022 End of Year Report!

📖 You can find more adoption highlights at pages 22-25 of the report here: https://pub.soidog.org/end-of-year-reports/2022.pdf#page=22

Pumar was one of a litter of puppies brought to the shelter in May 2021. Their mother had been fatally poisoned, leaving her and her three siblings to fend for themselves in the jungle. They were just a few months old at the time.

Pumar’s brothers and sisters found their own individual homes in Thailand within weeks of their arrival but, as the more timid of the litter, it took almost 18 months to find hers. However, if Pumar could talk, we think she’d say it was worth the wait.

In November last year, her adopters flew halfway across the world to Thailand to meet her, bond with her and then fly her home to Bolzano, Italy, with them – a heartwarming show of their commitment to her.

That commitment has only continued to grow since she arrived as her adopters have helped her gradually overcome her fears and enjoy a life full of adventure. Here’s a recent update from them:

“Pumar has mastered the challenges that her new environment has put on her so very well. She is such a smart, lovely and adventurous girl – always so curious about what comes next.

She is incredibly intent on her surroundings and adores to explore everything around her, play and run with her doggie friends and ride in the car.

It is so nice to see the spark in her eyes when she enjoys all these new experiences. Now with spring and the awakening of nature, her newest interest is catching lizards.

At home she enjoys cuddles and all the attention that is given to her. She is very affectionate. We are so happy about Pumar being a part of our family.”

With very few adoptions to Italy in Soi Dog history, it’s wonderful to see Pumar flourish against the beautiful backdrop of this mountainous city.

Your very own Pumar could be waiting in the wings of the Soi Dog shelter. Find out by visiting https://www.soidog.org/adopt-a-dog today.
