Catherina received this email from DVS this morning and she has replied to inform DVS that the kitten is now safe.  We are still not sure what action DVS would have taken.

The report was made on Friday.

Catherina replies:

Cik Anis,

Aduan saya melalui e-mail bertarikh 22 Apr 2011 dirujuk.

Sekian.
Catherina Tay

Anyhow, at the end of the day, I suppose all of us are little bit happier that the authorities do respond (now) and not dismiss such cases as they would have, a few years ago.

It is up to all of us to raise the awareness and ask for help from the proper channels.

Ask, and hopefully, we shall receive.  The more we ask, the more they would realise that we (and the animals) do need their help.  A gentle reminder that they are here to help...

Cheers!

P.S.  Catherina writes fantastic BM!  I must learn....
