Inspectorate 2013 Cases

We recently attended a case of 5 sparrows stuck on a glue board trap meant for rats at an office building on Henderson Rd. Although the trap was meant for rats and inconspicuously placed under a fridge, the sparrows were still able to get stuck on it. One of them was dead at scene. We tried our best to save the remaining four, but as more than 3/4 of their small bodies were covered in glue, very sadly, we were unable to.

The board was placed by a licensed pest control company hired by the building�s management. Our Inspector spoke to the pest control company’s staff, as well as the management of the building and they agreed to stop using such traps in future to prevent more unsuspecting animals being trapped.
