Dear Dr Chan,
I managed to talked to vet this morning & Polkadot has pulled thru the night. ‘Alhamdullilah’ as a muslim said.
I am thrilled with the news.
She is not able to move much but there is a slight movement from her (according to the vet).
Vet has done blood test & resultswere ; liver/enzyme & white blood countreading are very high.
Vetwill proceed to administer the appropriate medication of the liver & others.
Blood test will be repeated in near future to see any improvement after the medications intake.
She is not out of danger yet. Vet does not know the extent of her injuries internally.
They won’t / can’tdo any surgery in her current conditions. And surgerywill be thelast option at the moment.If she respond to the medications, no surgery will be required. The X ray might be done at later stage incase broken bones etc.
I have submitted request of medical fund to Petfinders. Yet to receive any feedback.
I will not know the final cost until she is allow to be discharged by vet (only when she is out of danger).
Please continue to pray for her & hope she will recover soon.
