Dear Kah Yein,

good evening.
Attached are the documents for your reference & I would like to apply for subsidy :-
(a) receipts for Lucky’s treatment
(b) pictures when I first saw him…..after cleaning up and during his acupuncture treatment.
On 25 July 2013 Thursday midday, a colleague called to inform that they found Lucky laying helplessly by the walkway ….under the hot sun near their office block. So, with a box in hand … I quickly rush to that area and found Lucky laying under the tree with some ants sticking to his wounds.
I then rush Lucky to the local Jabatan Haiwan in Alor Setar before they close for lunch. The vet suspected he is an accident victim as his whole body is basically SITTING ON both his back legs like a straight line (refer picture no. 3).
On 27 July 2013 Saturday, I drove him from Penang to Sungai Petani to consult another vet, as she has experience with serious injuries like this and might be able to help with acupuncture. Dr then took quite a while to clean up and inspected Lucky.
She taught me how to massaage Lucky’s legs twice per day and provided some advises. Next appointment made on 3 August for Lucky’s 1st acupuncture session.
Lucky has a strong n happy character eventhough with his current condition…. that push me further to help him…. he has such a strong n determine power to survive !!!!
Kah Yein, I remember reading an article about a half paralyse dog in KL ( i think ) that a supe kind lady – Lydia ( I think) has help to care/therapy for the dog until he slowly recovered and am able to walk now. Could you please help to ask if she could help.
I have 5 of my own cats, plus 4 more rescued cats (Bibi, tuxie, tung-tung, coco) waiting to be re-home in alor setar’s house with me.
I travel every week back to Penang with my 5 + 1 (bibi) cats and my dog; the other 3 cats stays in alor setar….. my hands are full.
would appreciate that any kind soul could help Lucky and give him a great home.
I will care & take care of him till his fairy god mum/dad comes along.
Lucky is such a blessing…..although i hv only spend 1 week plus with him…… it seems like he is always have a BIG SMILE on his face !!
Note :
“Taun” (named by Jabatan Haiwan Alor Setar) and Lucky (named by the vet in Penang) is the same kitten.
Now, I decided to name him Lucky - Dr said he is lucky to have “found” me
I hope I could help him and I wanted him to have a good healthy life…..
I wanted to see him, running around & jumping here & there one day soon
** Lucky need an experience loving soul to help to accompany him along this tough time of treatment & recovery.
Please call me at 016-404 2189 at any time.
