Historical Photos of Dogs & Cats in Human Poses

American photographer Harry Whittier Frees (1879-1953) created vignettes of animals dressed in tiny outfits made by his mother.

These pictures, from the United States Library of Congress, showcase some of his works, which were typically used for postcards and children’s books.
