If only they knew…

That ferocious look was made out of fear,

That magnificent pace meant nothing but anxiety,

That a majestic being was lost on the day it left the forest,

Would there still be smiles on their faces?

Despite some good conservation efforts by a meagre number of facilities that hold wild animals captive, it is an undeniable fact that millions and millions of these amazing creatures would lose their true identity to the thriving captive wild animal industry, just so that we could see them up close. #endanimalcruelty
