Did you know…?

Here at PAWS, we have over 500 animals. We strongly believe in feeding our furkids well while they’re under our care, and so we ensure each animal receives two meals a day. Every day, about 80kg of food is consumed by our animals – 50kg by our adult dogs, 20kg by our puppies and 10kg by our cats. That amounts to a whopping total of 2,400kg of food per month!

We’ve been blessed to receive food donations from generous members of the public throughout the years, and we are very grateful. However, with the amount of food consumed, keeping up with the costs is always an ongoing struggle.

PAWS

PAWS was founded in 1987 by a small group of local and expatriate volunteers. Through their generosity and imagination, PAWS was constructed on a patch of land owned by Sime Plantations on the Subang Airport Road. This distinct group of sheds and a courtyard still stands today and currently homes around 400 cats and dogs.

The staff that work at PAWS include one veterinary surgeon and a number of full-time personnel. The organisation depends entirely on the generosity of the public through donations or proceeds from charitable events organized and run by volunteers.
