Twenty tree species were planted in WWF-Malaysias reforestation area in Bukit Piton, Sabah. Maria Fung, the Lead for Reforestation (Sabah) initiated a pictorial record on the tree species there.

It’s a guide for reforestation practitioners who want to replant degraded forests, especially the forests for orang-utans habitat. We should leave their world a little better than we found it.

The pictorial tree compilation came from the efforts by WWF-Malaysia’s reforestation team in Sabah, led by Fredinand Lobinsiu, Reforestation Manager, together with Melvin Maibol, Jonius Kadil, Dominic Ampingan, Cosmas Gipin and Sibi Bangkias, Fredinand P. Lobinsiu, Maria Fung and Dr.John Tay.

Some people do leave the forest slightly better than when they entered it.
