When we first laid eyes on Truman, his appearance was heart-breaking. We had no way of knowing what happened to him, only that he was found in the street with shocking injuries. One of the employees had arrived for work that morning and found Truman lying in the street nearby. He had a shocking injury to one of his eyes and cuts all over his face, neck, and on one of his feet.
