Photos From Soi Dog Foundation's Post

I was taken from my mother at only 8 weeks old. I was too young to remember much, but the trauma of that early separation and abandonment still haunts me to this day.

The person who took me away dumped me in the garden of a Soi Dog volunteer. At the shelter, they named me Doris.

Will you please visit https://bit.ly/Sponsor-Doris to sponsor my ongoing care? Abandoned dogs like me cannot survive without your support.

Sadly, four years later I remain very fearful of humans. I am curious about them and sometimes will approach a person, but if the person moves, I get scared and run away. I wish I could trust you, but the terribly upsetting experiences I had as a young pup have really hurt me.

Your sponsorship can give me the time and care I need to heal – and hopefully one day be ready for adoption. Will you sponsor a dog who is too scared to be with you right now? If you can help me, please visit https://bit.ly/Sponsor-Doris

These days I live in the shy dog run here at the shelter. I feel safe here with the other dogs, with my carer, and with some special long-time volunteers. You can do something very special and ‘virtually’ adopt me by becoming one of my sponsors.

This way you are giving shelter, food, and veterinary care to me and my friends even though I am still living at the shelter. Could you do this for me today? You can sponsor me by going to https://bit.ly/Sponsor-Doris.

Thank you so much for caring.
