It has been just over 4 months since Mitzi was found at the bottom of a deep hole. We will never know how she got there, but she is extremely lucky to be alive.

Two of our Animal Rescue Officers were out in the middle of their duties when they heard the crying. They were deep in a jungle area and the sound was very faint at first. As they followed it, the crying became louder and they realised it was coming from a deep hole. Mitzi was laying at the bottom of it. One of the officers was lowered down the hole to her, where he was able to rescue her. Mitzi trembled in fear. She was shockingly skinny and covered in ticks and fleas.

Mitzi was just a few months old when found, and this ordeal has left her more cautious of humans than other pups her age. She is working hard every day to build her confidence and is looking for a family to take her in and help her continue her progress. Please don’t let her live life in fear, she deserves to feel loved and safe.

Can you give this precious puppy a home? Please email adoptions@soidog.org.
