Yesterday, on what would have been her 60th birthday, a statue of co-founder Gill Dalley was unveiled at the Soi Dog shelter in Phuket, Thailand.

The statue was personally funded by Gill’s husband and Soi Dog co-founder John, as a testament to his love for the amazing woman he was lucky to share part of his life with.

It serves as a reminder of the courage and passion of a woman determined to overcome her own physical disability to build a safe haven for her beloved street dogs and cats.
