Many of you were quite rightly outraged by what happened to the beautiful girl we named Sunflower. She was found in a world of unbearable suffering after being slashed across the head and leg in what was a deliberate, savage attack.

Please help these rescues to continue! Homeless animals like Sunflower have nobody else who cares. There is only you! Please pledge a monthly gift at https://bit.ly/Saving_Sunflower

We first heard about Sunflower when she was found by a kind man who feeds many street dogs in the community. But Sunflower was clearly terrified by what had happened to her and kept disappearing and going into hiding. It took several days of searching before she was found and could be picked up by our Animal Rescue Officer.

The barbaric wounds inflicted on Sunflower had become seriously infected over time and they were infested with maggots. This beautiful girl was in a world of pain but thanks to people like you, she will never suffer again.

If you love animals, please go to https://bit.ly/Saving_Sunflower to join the Emergency Response Team. Abused dogs like Sunflower simply have no hope without you. Your membership will fund the rescue, medical treatment, and ongoing care of so many more suffering animals that have nowhere else to turn.

Today, we are sharing some new photos of Sunflower as she recovers. Look at that smile! People like YOU made that happen. Will you please join them? Sunflower still has a way to go but with your support, we are hopeful she will get there.

Please become a member of the Emergency Response Team. This is a small group of very special people who fund rescues like this and, for dogs like Sunflower, they are all there is. Will you please go to https://bit.ly/Saving_Sunflower to join them? Thank you.
