Against all odds, gorgeous Alfy has found his furever home! Due to breed specific legislation and his old age, Alfy was overlooked. However, his charming personality captured all hearts here at the shelter.

Nearly two years ago, Alfy arrived at the shelter with a severe maggot infested wound on his head. He was presumably abandoned by his previous owner and left on the streets to fend for himself. Despite a heartbreaking past, his demeanor never changed and he was very much loved by all visitors and volunteers.

Finally, in November, a couple came to visit Soi Dog looking to adopt. It was love at first sight. Alfy is now living a lavish life in Texas and he could not be happier! His new family update us regularly and have told us he enjoys spending his days trotting around the garden, playing with his toys, and of course snoozing on his comfy bed. At 11 years old, he has finally been given the #furrytailending he dreamt of. Thank you to his new Mum and Dad for changing his life and giving him a chance to experience the true love and care of a family.
