Brodie update! Do you remember this beautiful boy? He arrived at the Soi Dog shelter desperately ill with severe skin problems. Your support is urgently needed to help the Soi Dog shelter expand and continue helping animals like Brodie! Will you please donate now at https://bit.ly/Saving_Brodie?

Soi Dog Foundation is continually asked to help a growing number of animals, both here on the island of Phuket where we are based, and further afield. As the numbers grow, so the available space at our shelter shrinks. We never want to get to the stage where we have to turn away an animal in need of help due to a lack of space. But we desperately need your help.

By donating now to fund the expansion of the shelter and the construction of additional treatment areas, as well as the purchase of extra kennels, cages, and vital medical equipment, you will be helping more sick, injured, abused or abandoned animals get the safe space they need and the medical treatment they urgently require if they are to survive.

Please donate now at https://bit.ly/Saving_Brodie

Brodie was in pitiful condition when we picked him up. Skinny and lethargic, his pictures alone will show you how urgently he needed help. Brodie’s severe skin problems were causing his fur to fall out and he was scratching himself constantly – getting no relief, but causing painful open sores to develop all over his body.

His nails were horribly overgrown, he had constant discharge from both his eyes and many of his teeth were missing. This was a boy who had known a great deal of suffering. Now try to imagine how his story would have ended if there had been nowhere for him to go. Sadly, this is a very real risk.

Although it’s likely Brodie’s fur will never fully grow back, he is no longer the sick boy we first met. His skin problems are resolving with the medical treatment he needed and every day, he gets stronger. He is one of the lucky ones.

Homeless animals like Brodie have nobody else who will help them. Please go to https://bit.ly/Saving_Brodie to donate what you can now and help fund the expansion of their shelter, giving them a safe place to heal. Thank you.
