What makes Juturna’s story all the more heart-breaking is that he continued to smile through the pain.

He was found with one of his front legs partially hacked off and yet, he continually wagged his tail and gave us kisses. Please help desperate animals like him by donating now at https://bit.ly/Saving_Juturna

We can’t even begin to imagine how much Juturna was suffering or how he managed to hide it. We don’t know what happened to him or how part of his leg came to be missing. He may have caught it in a wild boar snare – still widely found in Thailand – or he may have been deliberately attacked.

You may remember Juturna from a Facebook Live broadcast where we brought you his story just after he’d arrived. He is safe at our shelter now. When he first got here, he was incredibly weak, despite his constant show of affection to everyone around him. The wound on his leg was badly infected and surrounded by rotting tissue.

This little boy has had surgery now and is slowly recovering. We will update you on his progress in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, will you please go to https://bit.ly/Saving_Juturna to pledge a small monthly gift that will mean more of these innocent, suffering dogs can be picked up and helped?

Without the kind donations that fund their vital medical treatment, homeless animals like Juturna simply have no hope. Please be a part of these stories. You have the power to change their world. Please go to https://bit.ly/Saving_Juturna to help those who have nobody else. Thank you.
