Sabah is home to a vast number of terrestrial species, all of whom are threatened by increasing loss of habitat, human conflict and poaching. Part of what the team in Sabah does include working with governmental and non-governmental agencies to monitor, find solutions and ultimately reduce poaching activities in forest reserves. Their work on the ground is long, tiring and often life-threatening. Yet they do it anyway because our wildlife are worth protecting.
