Pisces The Malayan Water Monitor

Pisces was caught in a trap that was setup in a fish farm, helping himself to an array of choice that also meant profits to the farm owners.

As Pisces struggled about his trap, scrapping his now-pink nose to find an escape route, his long muscular tail (normally used as a first line of defence) got caught around the trap spring. A tug-of-war with his own tail ensued and he got stuck fast under the hot sun.

Our wildlife rescue officers sprayed him down with the water hose, and like a thirsty flower, Pisces bloomed back to life! Watch him sprint to the waters edge during his release. No speed bumps will slow him down (video clip at 00:11).

Ps, will you donate to help more wild animals like Pisces?
