Socool arrived at the Soi Dog shelter after being found at an abandoned house. Our vets reckoned he’d been without food for a week.

He was stressed and terrified. Nobody could touch him. He also refused to socialise with any of the other cats at the shelter. Socool had been left all alone in the world – and that’s how he wanted to stay.

And then, Pagorn arrived. He’d been attacked by a dog and his leg was so badly injured it couldn’t be saved. When he had fully healed following surgery, he was moved to one of the Cat Adoption rooms. And that’s when he met Socool – and the magic began to unfold.

Over time, these two became inseparable. Socool followed Pagorn everywhere, seeking him out for reassurance. When they were not grooming each other, they lay curled up together, united in sleep. They truly were best friends.

And then one day, thousands of miles away in the UK, Vicki and Phil read their story…

Today, Socool and Pagorn are British citizens, having arrived in their forever home a few weeks ago. We are so very grateful to the special family who gave them this chance.

If you love cats, please act now for some of the world’s most neglected. Go to https://bit.ly/Caring_For_Homeless_Cats to join the Care for Cats Club and make more stories like this possible.

Thank you.
