Hooded Pitta Release

Seeing a bird fly again is really something!

It means that this bird has recovered she’s finally back on track with life. Some birds may have been trapped in a confined space and couldn’t find their way out; some wounded and couldn’t recover on their own. In other cases, a chick may have been separated from the family and needed fostering.

They’re just like us.

We’ve been down on our lives before at one point of time or find ourselves alone, and we struggle through it. But there might have been a guardian angel who stood with us, nurturing us back onto our rightful paths, helping us heal physically or emotionally to live fulfilling lives again. Gradually, we recover too.

And so, we soar. High!

These wild animals will never utter words of appreciation because they don’t have a voice to speak up.

Yet they feel the way we do.

And they experience the things we experience.

When we put ourselves in their shoes- or wings- we remember what it’s like to be down and helpless. Frustrated even. And when we remember the million-dollar feeling of being able to soar in the skies again, we grit our teeth and do the best for them.

Will you help us too?
