It was a morning like any other as one of our Animal Rescue Officers was getting into the Soi Dog truck to start work. Just as he opened the driver door, he heard a cry from the back of the truck. A dog was lying there, her back leg seriously injured.

Helga arrived at our shelter limping on her left hind leg and unable to put any weight on it. An x-ray revealed it was fractured. We don’t know where this beautiful girl came from or what happened to her. She is now safe, but will need surgery on her leg. And this is why the support of people like you is so crucial.

Dogs like Helga have nobody to help them if they don’t have you. And now that our shelter is permanently operating at full capacity, they need you more than ever.
