Update on Guido, who was found with a horrifically infected wound around his neck. This unbelievably painful injury was the result of someone tying a piece of nylon string around his neck when he was a lot smaller, most likely a puppy – then abandoning him.

Will you please go to https://bit.ly/Saving_Guido and donate to help with the rescue, shelter, and medical treatment of homeless animals like him?

Soi Dog Foundation is now being asked to help so many more animals than in the past – often from far beyond where we are based. Many of these dogs and cats are desperate victims of cruelty or abandonment, or they have grown up on the streets and are now sick or seriously injured. Work is ongoing to expand the Soi Dog shelter so that more suffering animals can be helped but your help is desperately needed to ensure it can continue.

Guido was incredibly lucky to have been found when he was. Left untreated much longer, the infection in the wound would have progressed to very dangerous levels, leading ultimately to septicaemia and a slow and painful death.

Will you please help to fund the expansion of the Soi Dog shelter so that more homeless animals like Guido can be helped? Please donate now so that we can create more space and facilities to care for vulnerable animals like Guido! https://bit.ly/Saving_Guido

Guido needed surgery to repair the horrific wound on his neck. He was also started on pain relief and antibiotics. He is now safe and he will never suffer again. This is all we want for many more animals that are sick or injured on the streets. We simply cannot turn our backs on them due to a lack of space. Will you take action to ensure it never comes to this?

Your kind gift will help to fund the construction of additional shelter space, along with new treatment areas and the essential equipment to keep it running, thereby saving more lives. Please act now to help more homeless and unowned animals like Guido by donating at https://bit.ly/Saving_Guido

Thank you.
