Horatio's Furrytail Ending!

2198 days. That is how long Figaro, now called Haratio, waited for his #furrytailending. By looking at these pictures, the wait was well worth it. He is now living his best life in the UK.

At only 8 weeks old, Horatio was struck by a moving vehicle and left for dead. Luckily a kind Samaritan witnessed the accident and called Soi Dog immediately. He was rushed to the Soi Dog Hospital and luckily survived but the horrible ordeal left him terrified. It took years of TLC from the behaviour team and volunteers for Horatio to gain the confidence he needed to find a home and luckily his new mum is continuing that growth as each day passes.

“Wonderful news to say that Figaro (Horatio) is still on the up and up. He is really settling in nicely and is thoroughly enjoying his walks and life in general. He appears to be gaining confidence in his walks and general attitude, which is terrific. He was a perfect gentleman in the car and Bella, Yoda and the cats immediately took to him – two of the cats went up to say hello. He appears content, wags his tail when he sees me and is currently sitting on his vet bedding beside me chewing a Bonio. He is absolutely lovely and has been out for numerous small walks. He already gets excited when I bring out the lead.”

We are so happy to see that he is finally experiencing life outside the shelter filled with love from his adopter, Shannon. Thank you Shannon for taking a chance on a shy dog, you have changed his life!
